Piedmont Trip, Day 3- Elvio Cogno+Massolino (Barolo, Piemont, Italy): Nose: The nose is fragrant and pretty with red cherries, red florals, spice tones, and some roasted herbs. While there is good fragrance to the nose, it does lack a little bit of depth and shows a slight green-ness to it.
Taste: Medium bodied with medium+ acidity and medium+ tannins. The feel is a bit light on its feet with the acidity being slightly astringent and red cherries, red florals, and roasted herbs.
Overall: This is a pretty and light Langhe Nebbiolo. It lacks some depth and it shows a tinge green, but it is easy drinking and balanced that is ready to drink right now.

Not very memorable, light bodied and flavor. Easy drinker, but nothing crazy.
