Lime, lemon and talc with a brilliant acid backbone that carries the fruit so fully and refreshingly on to the palate. A classic Clare Riesling that drinks well but could fill out with anther 5 or 6 years.

This 2016 have improved in the bottle, I think. Now softer/less tart than I remember it, still dry, still with plenty of New World Riesling flavours and personality; very much a Foodie style; decent intensity in mouth; some flinty minerality; defo' the best so far of my 2016 bottles. Time in cellar well rewarded.
VFM?.....feels like I'd be happy to pay £12.00 retail, happy to buy again in good yrs.

Powerfully aromatic nose of coconut and kaffir lime leaf, bone dry and lemony on the palate. Green apple and lemon grass appear with time but the austerity remains. Too challenging for some but I loved it--I'd forgotten how much I love the super-dry Aussie dry reislings.

T.....Boy, Jim means 'Dry'! Solid Aussie Riesling flavours, defo a Foodie style, not a quaffer. Hint of floury tannins, no minerals or wet river stone impressions, a bit simple in that way.
VFM....not a bargain, next time will probably spend the £15 on a Framingham from NZ or just anyone else's more-Spatlese less-dry style

Uninteresting. Variety agnostic - might as well be Sauvignon blanc. High acid, lemons, white flowers. Nice with popcorn.
