Light golden colour then toast, yellow florals, honey and kerosene on the nose. Palate showing rounded/honeyed edges but still enough lift from the acid with medium depth/length. Purchased this recently and it was really great value for money given that it is essentially drinking at its peak.
This is the most age I've had on a Lodge Hill Riesling and it is showing really well at 14 years from a reasonably strong Clare Riesling vintage. Thinking that 10-15 years would be a good point to drink these.

Showing signs of age; in a good way. Developing some almost toasty notes, what I envisage Hunter Valley Semillon might do. Nice acidity and mouth feel with predominance of lemon lime fruit character turning a little marmalade. Very enjoyable.

A real disappointment. I am not familiar with Australian riesling but this one is just not good. Tastes like over oaked old chardonnay. Acidity is masked by overripeness and too much oak style aromas though it would be weird to age riesling in oak barrels!. Does not look flawed either, just bad.

A nice, clean, crisp riesling with a fruity nose and a lot of fruit (tart apple) on the palate. A pleasant, reasonably long finish. Very good for the price and paired well with a spicy, chicken panang curry.

Walker tasting with Negociants, Solomon, and Vin Divino: Eh? Slightly off dry. Some saline qualities. Don't really get this, or the price. 82-84
