Pale gold. The nose is buried in reduction. The palate is quite dry and austere with high acidity. This needs serious airtime or food. Quite unappealing. No finish.

Pale golden yellow. First nose of citrus, lemon and grapefruit. Again lots of citrus fruit on the palate with slight minerality. Very dry, nervous wine. Lacking a bit strucutre, crisp acidity, and just a little bitter on the finish.

Had a bottle with a colleague at a restaurant ($30). Rather heighten smell, sweet with a candied scent. Somewhat tart. Had with Asian fare. Within this lower price category, would prefer a Chateau St. Michelle.
