See Argraths detailed note below for details. Not much to add other than I really like it. Well up there with Leflaive eat al of Puligny fame. Try Giaconda and Bartinney (RSA) for similar great Chardonnay

(Blind tasting) Full, spicy and exotic nose. Vermouth-spices. Nutmeg, wormwood, musk, resin, cinnamon and white flowers upfront. Deep behind some oak, honeydew and yellow orchard fruit. Waxy. Complex and idiosyncratic. Full, fat palate. Intense spiciness. Same Vermouth-like spice as on the nose. When you overcome that you can also feel the wine has malo-notes and buttery oak combined with honeydew and tropical fruit. Medium (+) acidity gives lift and freshness. Long and harmonius. Is this wine too idiosyncratic? Our first experience with this wine and I will never miss it in future blindtastings. One of a kind. Is it good? Of course quality is there, but we were hard put to even recognize chardonnay... An educating experience and I have yet to decide if I like it or not.

A nose of savoury mint (ie not the sweet kind) and rosemary bark. I know, pretentious, but really grab some fresh rosemary, pull the leaves off and smell separately (greener, fresher) compared to their stalk, which is more savoury & woody. A nice finish, balanced. I’d happily drink this with a winter lunch of roast chicken & vegetables.

Very floral and herbal bouquet. Lemon, lime, apricot, peach. A touch of cereal and toast. Amazing cut and drive of acid is nicely offset by intense fruit. Just a little less intense than it's sibling, White Bones, but so close in so many qualities. Amazing stuff. Second time tasted this year.

Stoney terroir, mineral, fine citrus notes and that mint that seems so distinctive for this wine. Nice fruit core, fresh but not sharp acidity, slightly bitter end but a slightly detracting too intense impression of alcohol on the finish.
