Popped and poured. Light yellow-gold. Highly aromatic. Big-time lychee in the nose, floral and slightly nutty. In the mouth, this lacks acidity, yet it still has enough of an edge to avoid flabbiness. Spicy, but not too spicy. Good flavor, which fades slowly and richly into the finish. Went great with Hiroko's hot shrimp dish. 4-12-16-8: 90/100.

Agree with Dale M- balanced, complex and complete. Really good Gewurtztraminer. Gold tinged yellow. Lychee, mint, flowers and a bit of smoke. Full bdied, oily mouth feel with a creamy finish. As Dale M says, Gewurtztraminer will never be the most acidic white wine but that having been said, this does have some acidic drive. There is also some good phenolic bitterness at the end. Over all beautifully balanced and elegant for such a big wine.

3 years has a made a ton of difference, this is balanced, complex, and complete. I have neglected this grape for a while, but while still in winter, lets remedy that.

Lovely balanced Gewurtztraminer with decent counterbalancing acid. Great wine with spicy food. Yum!
