Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • popped and poured. pure light ruby (no browning) to the rim. great nose nose with sweet cherry fruit mixed with sois-bois and a touch of cinnamon and brown sugar. The palate was nowhere near as good initally, a bit crabby. eventually came together after about 45 minutes with pure sweet fruit, wonderful balance, some age and a long finish. Night 2- I kept some vacu-vined in the fridge and initially it was very similar. after about 1/2 hour it added an additional layer of depth and complexity that was phenomenal. Just fantastic.
    no hurry.
