On the nose it is a superb bouquet of floral notes, black fruits, truffles and spices. On the palate the wine is ample, dense and very structured, we perfectly perceive the aromas of truffles, black fruits, violets and camphor. There is a perfect balance between a certain acidity and tannins of an elegant roundness, which gives the wine a great freshness. The finish is splendidly long. To be enjoyed now and until 2036.

GRANDS CRUS CLASSES OF SAINT EMILION 2019 TASTING OF 2016 VINTAGE, nose of black cherry, and ash, same on the palate, big body, mouth filling fruit, lovely fruit, soft tannins, very tasty, needs 4 years to peak, and a long, flavorful finish.

Very deep color.
Nose > Very Merlot, ripe black fruit. Good richness.
Palate > Sappy, ripe black fruit. Med+ intensity. Balance is on the firm, linear side.
15% ABV
33 hl/hc (2.1 tons/acre)
73% Merlot, 22% Cab Franc, 5% Cab Sauvignon.

Incense, smoke, licorice, wet earth and ripe. dark cherries are all over the place here. The wine is ripe, fleshy and round with a silky, polished, espresso, vanilla and plum finish. Give it a few years for the oak to integrate and this will a very nice treat.
