  Dark garnet with brick red tinge showing its aged.
  Aromas of tobacco, earth, cigar box, blackcurrant and some red fruits. Good entry with some earthy rustic character, along with subtle dried herbs and tobacco. Medium finish with hints of spiciness, fine tannins with a soft grip. Holding up well although a bit simple. Tasted blind and I thought this was from a younger 94/95 vintage.

  Brought this to a wine mate's baby shower last night.
  
  Brick red in colour with a faint fragrance on the nose, with notes of leather and wild fungus.
  
  Medium body with rustic characteristics. Some licorice, toffee, mushrooms and coca. The nose is a lot nicer than the palate.
