  • Tasted this wine two years ago and was not impressed at all “young and stay closed”. Tried it again this years and it was much better. At the beginning very reticent in the nose but then open and is very pleasant. Need to be open at least 1hour before tasting and not to cold.

  • A bit awkward overall, still quite tannic, not a lot of charm but some power and structure. About the same on the 2nd day too. Pretty reasonably priced, but just not enough charm.

  • Consumed over 2 days (vacuvined), note from day 2. Nose: Medium expressiveness, black olives, saline, anise, dark fruit - blackberry and plum. Palate: Medium bodied, black olive and sweet black fruit attack, solid acidic backbone, back-end shows tobacco and hints of black pepper. Finish: Medium length showing subtle dark fruit, earth, and tobacco. Well balanced and showing nice complexity overall, though lacking somewhat in depth.

  • This opened up after a couple of hours. I’m not sure how much better this will get with time. Lots of licorice, plums, violets, and huge dry tannins. I’ll give the next one a year

  • This bottle was gifted - not familiar with the chateau previously. Coravin'd over a couple evenings. Nose a bit reticent at first, opened in the glass with some red fruits and brush. Palate showing black raspberry, mocha, floral notes. Medium weight and finish, tannins not too grippy but still very present

Wine is drinking well but still very primary by Bdx standards. Too early to try to rate, should do better with a couple years in the cellar
