  Opened and decanted for 30 min; then back into bottle for an hour before consuming. The nose showed a bit of oak initially, then slowly opened to show ripe orchard fruits, floral notes, a hint of minerality, and subtle spice. It continued to change over an hour or so in the glass at times seeming more mineral and steely, at one point having some tropical notes. The palate was ripe and delicious, showing plenty of depth though maybe lacking a bit of energy to be truly great. All in all it was excellent, still too early really but given concern for oxidation I'm not sure how long I'll let my other bottle go.
