Drouhin was tasted against Hubert Lamy En Remilly 2015. Med gold colour. High acidity, med alcohol, full body and more than Lamy, High intensity (more than Lamy), long finish. Aromas of toast, apricot, peach and lots of butter. It's a very rich wine. The balance is heavily influenced by the butter aromas and is not as elegant as Lamy which I scored 93. Further ageing potential. 91+

Green Apple skin. Buttered toast. Nutmeg. Nice mellow Chardonnay. Nice acid. Paired with mussels and oysters. A little young. But still soft on the palate.

La Paulée de NY Grand Tasting (Pier 60 - NYC): Very rich and chunky white fruit that isn't yet integrated with the structure and comes across a bit awkward right now. Not as ready or enjoyable as the CdM blanc. Better with time, I think. 90+
