Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier Cellar Visit and Tasting (Chambolle-Musigny): Barrel tasting at the domaine. 2017s are soon to be racked and assembled. Rich and ripe red cherry aromas with black cherry hints and savory spice. Similar flavors with impressive power and textures and a silky, minerally finish. 93-95 point potential, based on how much more nuance emerges.

Cask sample. Incredibly charming, so clean, so fresh aromas. lovely red currant fruit. Lovely touch - really electric. Linear and clean all the way. Really fresh with amazing fruit. Long mineral finish. An almost perfect expression of Chambolle with crazy elegance. 97-99p
