Favorite red of the night.
Nose of earth, red fruits, later can smell gum, mint.
Very fine and strong tanning, great concentration. Very musigny, linear but powerful.

Musigny (Shanghai): 09/11/13. Deep, strawberry, blue fruit, mint, bubble gum. Incredibly acidity, spinned, perfumed. Most classy of the trio. 94+

06/09 pairing. While this is still very young, with 2+ hours of air it was delicious and showing lots of floral and spice nuances. Classic iron fist in a velvet glove with serious concentration and power, with seamless integration and refined edges. Long, sweet fruit and floral finish. Clear upside from here.

Happy Birthday to Me (Oriole - Chicago IL): Ripe and dense, yet brightly textured with great brightness and weight. A couple of hours in decanter really brought everything together. I last tasted this in Burgundy just around its release, and am thrilled how/ where it has progressed.
