Nine red 2006 Burgs (Noize): All the wet wool, with smoke and apricot too. Very interesting on the palate, with yellow apple, sourdough, something mealy and a touch of spice. Long finish. I love these wines, with their unique and sophisticated flavour profile, and this bottle was in a good spot.

2006 Burgundy with a few additions (Noizé, London): On pouring there is a cheesy edge to the nose here with some cyder vinegar acidity, these characteristics blow off after some time in the glass revealing a very classic mature off dry chenin. There is a lovely honeyed dustiness to this. Great acidity.

this was clean and sparkling, the acidity with lemon spritz counters the moderately sweet silky flavors. not a lot of caramel great with cheese.
