I had higher hopes on this one. Some disturbing sourness in the mouth that went away on day four. First then it was really silky but did not meet the high expectations being a €75 wine. Will try other vintage soon.

Very powerful Barolo! Very typical Barolo-nose. Large improvements since last bottle.Decanted for two hours. Still lots of backbone and tannins not fully integrated. One bottle left to rest for 5 years.Hopefully.

The nose was dark, showing crushed black cherry, woodland florals, earth tones, balsamic spices and smoke. On the palate, I found silky-soft textures offset by mineral-infused black and red fruits, zesty exotic spices, minerals and mounting tannins. It finished long and savory, displaying lingering spice with just enough mouthwatering acidity to keep this structured Bricco Fiasco from drying out.

Dyrt och surt. Får se om det blir bättre med tid. Luftat i 2 timmar.

Ripe fruits, orange, some tar, and floral notes. Great acidity, long finish. Elegant wine and one that will age beautifully.
