  • Others loved the wine but I was unconvinced. Reminded me of Ponsot's Aligote which is lovely and expressive, but for me the wine did not have the focus and purity of say a great Chevalier. Still, good wine. Asphalt, apricots, a bit of oxidation like an older Champagne.

  • It was the first time I tasted Musigny Blanc. I must admit that I did not know what to expect, so had geared myself up to be disappointed (call me an optimist!). Well, I was happily surprised. The wine was austere and severe, not unlike Musigny "rouge" actually. But it had a clear personality, told its own unique stories, and held well in the glass for well over an hour. It was followed by 1990 Coche Dury M. Perrieres and 1982 DRC Montrachet and while those were clearly better wines, this one had nothing to be ashamed of.

  • From jero, very fresh light yellow in color, nose of citrus fruit and not much else, palate with good acidity and nothing else to speak of! A fresh but very simple white with no finish at all, a disaster for the asking price, avoid.
