"91% Zin & 9% P.S. aged 10 mos in small, oak barrels (48% FR, 32% AM, & 20% neutral); 14.8% ABV, 7.2 g/L T.A., & 3.34 pH; 996 cases released 4/1/18 @ $25 sugg retail."
N: Slightly closed; Berries, toast, with undertones of dill seed? Vanilla with addt'l air/swirling?
P: Med body; NICE, ALMOST swtish frt met by a bit of astringent pucker which transitions into a LONG, TANGY/swt finish with occasional notes of a very, VERY slight bitterness (actually a +) to the very, VERY slight tannins. Drinking VERY well right now, & I'd expect it to hold though '21. My VG+/EXC-, *definitely* trending towards the higher! Went well with 1 of our "go to" entrees: Stuffed Ravioli with IT Sausages in Marinara Sauce. // Day 2: This food friendly wine also went well with a Chx Adobado Burrito. '18 Contest Results: Gold @ Critics Challenge, & Silvers @ S.D. Int'l & Dan Berger Int'l; '19 Results: Double Gold @ W Coast Wine Comp, & Silvers @ Toast of the Coast & S.F. Chronicle! [As of early Aug '19, wine-searcher still shows 2 sources @ $20 & $22].
Note: This is my 4th consecutive vintage of this bottling. IMHO one can RELY upon its consistency! :)

Nice zin. The flavors are definitely zin but not over the top jammy. Paired well with pulled pork. Wish I had more.
