taste: Full bodied with medium acidity and balanced tones of white fruits, quince, creams and some lemon curd tones. Excellent depth with the tones being well rounded
overall: Four years on and this is still a beautiful wine. Showing some maturity, but comes off as still on the young side. There is a medium gold color but still youthful on the tones.

Nebbiolo (Barolo) Blow Out 6/22 (Coppia Restaurant, Portland OR): Wow, surprisingly delicious aromas. Certainly plenty of charred oak here, but there's also some apricots and minerality that keep interest high. The palate is rich and decedent with some earthy funk to it. Very soft and luscious texture, showing mild acid on the palate. Acids dial up impressively on the finish which lingers with more oak. By itself and as a first wine this was really impressive. After I had the Clouet Champagne after this and came back to the Gaja the oak was all I got and I really did not enjoy this. Glad it came first!

incredible!!! Shows ripe tropical furit, caramel, all that you would expect from an amazing Chardonnay, and with a refreshing acidity. Amazing after 14 yrs

ERI Pre Auction tasting (Union League Club, Chicago IL): nose: very complex and deep nose with lots of bright citrus tones, lemon peel, apricots, drops of honey, pears, and nice mineral tones. A very interesting nose that is very alluring while being somewhat light
taste: great light feel with medium+ acidity giving off tones of minerals, apricots, loads of pears, bright citrus tones and vanilla extract. Very fluid and light with a lot of complexity on the palate too
overall: light yellow color with great acidity. Crisp and tart, this has a lot of complexity and is my first experience with a Gaja white. Great aromatics and complexity on the palate, this is a very interesting white that draws you in and is very enjoyable while being far from full maturity

Edward Roberts International Pre-Auction Tasting (Union League Club of Chicago): Edward Roberts International Pre-Auction Wine Tasting. Beautiful roasted pineapple covered in caramel. Incredible finish. Can't believe this is only selling for about $40 on winebid. Loved my first Gaja white experience. The floral nose of yellow and pink flowers was so unique. The acidity on the finish was in harmony with the alcohol. I loved this wine!!!
