Double blind tasting Dark lemon/ light gold color with green tint Medium plus aromas of unripe green apple/ leaves and yellow florals with petrichor / wet rocks and saline background - quite complex Medium bodied with oily texture - green herbal/ leafy notes with no evident fruit - dominated by intense mineral drive Medium alcohol and medium acidity with fairly intense medium plus phenolic bitterness which drives this wine Nice length led by this bitterness and minerality This wine will not appeal to all but I find it drinking very well at this stage - don't think will gain much by further aging however I guessed Italian white - Fiano based on the minerality and phenolics

Dark lemon. Filtered Aromatics medium +. Started with some cream, bruised yellow apples and yellow floral. Over time in the glass develops crushed gravel, petrol. No new oak. Palate has a medium body. Acid medium with some lees notes affecting the acid. Moderate phenolics. Alcohol medium +. Old golden apples, rocks and petrol Finish has a medium + length. Balance towards the phenolics. Dry glass notes of flint. I must say this wine is unique. The fruit fades quickly, but the minerality is the star. Ever changing aromatics. Great example of phenolic bitterness from Italy. Drink now.

Italian Wine Scholar Class at the Texas Wine School. 60% Bosco, 20% Vermentino and 20% Albarola. Med intensity nose, with white flowers, ripe orchard fruit, lemon fresh herbs, blanched almond. No oak. Dry, with med acid, med alcohol (12.5%) and a smooth, creamy mouthfeel thanks to 6-8 mos on the lees. Med (+) flavor intensity, with a slightly saline, savory finish. Good to very good, but a little pricey at over $30. Drink now, not likely to improve with further aging.

Spice, brine, sweet floral and herbal nose. Mineral and relatively slick palate, some round character, almond pith, light finish with a touch of bitterness. Fresh and bright with plenty of stone fruit character throughout.

Salty, herbal, gets a bit rounder with air. Nice aperitif wine but not as interesting as other Ligurian whites I’ve had.
