PnP under less than ideal conditions (service temperature issue). Good food wine that delivered on the flavors (peach, melon, etc), and less on the minerality/place notes. Seems more a 'sipper' than the type of stoney/super-crisp food wines I'm into these days. Quite good, and, as I say, perhaps this performance had a lot to do with the service temperature issue (that was totally out of my control). recommended
Italian Wine Scholar Class at the Texas Wine School. 60% Bosco, 20% Vermentino and 20% Albarola. Med (-) gold. Med (+) intensity nose, with white flowers, ripe orchard fruit, lemon, fresh herbs, wet stone and petrol. All stainless. Dry, with med to med (+) acidity, med alcohol (12.5%) and a smooth, creamy mouthfeel thanks to 6-8 mos on the lees. Med to Med (+) flavor intensity and length, with a slightly saline, bitter grapefruit finish. Very good, reminiscent of a quality, dry German Riesling. Not likely to improve with further aging. By 3/1/22 it also showed aromas of honey and almond.

Purple flowers, lemon zest, melons and peaches. A lot of salinity, fresh herbs, wet stone, oyster shells and a note that almost tastes like fresh Uni (sea urchin). Medium bodied, great acidity. Linear and laser focused. Blind, I would almost say it's a dry Riesling.
