  Dark cherry red color. Deep, red fruited, strawberry nose. Smooth strawberry fruit, pepper notes. Soft tannins, good acidity and balance. Finishes long with lovely strawberry and currant fruit. Seems fairly straightforward and unexceptional. Picks up some depth with air and food. Very nice, but for the price tag I expected more. Drink over the next 3 to 4 years. I don't see a lot of potential improvement considering this is already 5 years on.
