(Cobb Pinot Noir Rice Spivek Sonoma Coast) #3; COLOR-dark; NOSE-nice bacon element initially; gorgeous round strawberries; little light pepper; big nose; very Burgundian in it's approach; little floral aspect as well (lilac, rose petal); PALATE-this is pretty good; WOW; great mid-palate; just completely blown away by the structure of this fruit; a little heat that kind of blows off; tannins on the back-end; earthiness w/ bark and highway roadside brush; but upfront you're tasting a beautiful cranberry/strawberry cocktail; medium to full bodied; a little more Burgundian on the palate, but you can still taste the California sunshine; nice balance between Old and New World; the fruit is very pure and clean;; a little creamy on the back-end; I like this wine a lot, although a bit pricey; AM-90; JR-92; GV-91

Medium body, soft, and elegant. Red berry fruit, with some cola and spice. A smoothness in the mid palate that suggests a touch of new oak. Enough acidity to give it structure and probably some durability.
