  • Translucent red with a somewhat reticent nose of red fruits, earth and spice. On the palate there's a noticeable tartness, as if the fruit was picked just on the edge of ripeness. Raspberry, cranberry, and pomegranate with a green note. Light bodied with good acidity and integrated tannins.

I don't see the point of holding. While enjoyable, the QPR is seriously lacking.

  • Relatively transparent reddish ruby purple. Has that nutty stemmy whole cluster thing going on. This is NOT a green stemmy whole cluster wine. The whole clusters certainly add complexity. Palate is delicate. Structure is a bit loose but tightens up a bit towards the slightly sour finish. Light even by Burgundy standards and missing that supple velvety texture and impression of sweetness that the best Burgundies can achieve. Enjoyed the wine overall and appreciate the low alcohol.
