  • Pnp at 14°C in Zalto glass, virgin palate and high thirst. Nice classical nose of hay, pomelo and a hint of pine apple. Mouth fine, elegant and gently mineral with a core of pomelo acidity a hint of pineapple juice, slightly butter, and a final of dry hay. Good length, medium power and so elegant. A solid 91-92.

  • Light-medium golden color. Still pretty young, but showing very good potential with notes of citrus, some wet stone minerality, some sweet spices, honey, a touch of nuts. It‘s pretty full-bodied, with medium-high acidity and just a touch of phenolic bitterness. Pretty long finish. A still young but nice Pouilly-Fuissé that will still have a few really good years ahead.

  • This is better than I remember and maybe should get a further boost. Full of energy and bright yet rich fruit. Gentle oak with plenty of fruit, sweetness and creamy notes with lift on the finish.
    Excellent 92+

  • Opened at the same time as a bottle of Riesling Sommerberg Boxler. Its insulting youth does not allow to enjoy it as it deserves. Right now it stands out for its admirable citrus precision on the nose, for its minerality in the mouth and its grip; for its opulence and sharp acidity too. Endless length reaching already a delicious stony aftertaste. No doubt the temptation to open this bottle was cemented in hell.

  • Pouilly-Fuissé with Jasper Morris MW (Zoom!): A S/SW facing vineyard to the north of the village. A lot of good winemakers have holdings here.

Yet more gorgeous concentration on the nose, with sunny fruit. some creaminess and, yet again, a compensating bitter finish. Delicious and vivacious. Group and Jasper #2 tonight
