Not as floral as my previous bottle but still showing very good structure and precision in a burgundian style. Strawberry, spice, violets and cinnamon. The tasters think it is a chambolle musigny or vosne grand cru when it is served blind.

Not much tannin left, but 25 years later delicious. Dense color, great round flavors of cherries and chocolate , delicious with duck and roasted root vegetables.

Strawberry, red currant, citrus, roses and vanilla. Silky palate with alluring sweetness. The tasters thought it was a chambolle musigny in blind. Probably the best cali pinot I ever had. Better than the Hirsch in 95.

I think this is the best domestic Pinot Noir I've ever had. Lots of bright red strawberry and cherry with hints of spice, beautifully pure and silky. Doesn't have the concentration or layering it likely had in its youth but not at all drying out, impressively elegant and long. Wonderful.

Burt Williams Dinner (Divino): A bit darker compared to the 94 and 06 with notes of cherries, red berries, and underwood on the nose. Good acidity and structure with flavors of wild strawberries on the palate. Long finish. Excellent wine!
