Still really young, but smooth with bright bright red fruit.
Decant for 90 minutes before drinking for best results.

Suckling Wines of the World: this was good but not a standout particularly when compared to the 2016. Black fruits and decent typicity, it will no doubt get better as it ages.

Fragrant bouquet and prominent fruit and surprisingly integrated tannins. Drinking well now as a youthful wine but with the bones to go to the distance. The hot year is evident in the prominence of the fruit but its not baked or too hot. Very enjoyable.
