This was a special treat and drinking perfectly now. There is an enticing depth and great red and black fruit that is now quite open knit and generous in style. The structure is quite soft now, so I would drink up. Long finish, some complexity. Very pleasurable without providing layers of complexity. Reminded me of a Sassicaia 1998 that I tried recently - similarly open knit and ready to go.

2000 DOMINO de PINGUS RIBERA del DUERO-this was absolutely amazing from its rich, deep dark colour on; the nose offered such an inviting perfume of talc and black fruit, the taste came in with just the right amount of liquorice and milk chocolate laden blackberry and blueberry fruit and the mouthfeel was probably the hallmark above and beyond; it was silky smooth almost creamy and carried all of the treasures to the back end with grace and elegance; this wine was in perfect balance and drinking beautifully now with promises to go on and forward for eons

It was very average at first, but with 6 hours of air, this rocked!! It developed into a very elegant, still quite tannic but well balanced wine with a great length.

A bit disappointed, too one dimensional, very concentrated fruit, missing elegance and length maybe because of the lacking acidity, soft and ripe tannins

Some bottle age works to the advantage of this exuberant wine. The Tempanillo distinctive flavor shows clearly. More structure would be welcome though but it's just plain delicious.
