Bought this at the winery a few years ago, where the winemaker, a young man who looked all of about 17, said the cab franc was "crazy good". And it was pretty good. Dark purple, with lots of dark fruit on the nose. The palate was jammy and chewy, blackberries and plums, delicious. Not especially complex, but quite pleasant.

Rich frothy black fruit aromas. lots of dark creamy currant and blackberry and sweet vanilla mocha type flavors. Seems extracted, not in the sweet syrupy sense but more a sensation of lots of suspended particulates. A little wood but its a constructive addition. Balanced; tannins are well matched to the fruit right now. Good aperitif wine, not sure I could match it to food well. pretty darn tasty.
