Such a different wine than what I see reviewed in Feb of 2010. Had it with filet on the grill, was rich and velvety, not tannic or overly lean and acidic. Better than I expected, was a real crowd pleaser. Tannins were moderate. Would drink again without a doubt.

Not-so-old-not-so-rich blind tasting 1 (Jorge's apartment): Dark purple color, reductiveness (rubber boot) nose with hints of ash / ashtray. Dry, very tannic and acidic. Hotsauce and pepper on the mouth and especially on the finish. White pepper on the finish. We were guessing highly-manipulated merlot, not a typical cab franc. It would be interesting to see this wine in 4+ years, right now it just seems completely disjointed and unstructured.

Zero fruit left. Very sour at this point. Same I forgot it in the cellar all these years

Such a good Cab Franc. Dark berries, smooth tannins, and a finish that begs for another sip.
