Really enjoyed this bottle, fairly complex, somewhere between a new world pinot and a burgandy nice balance of fruit and acidity, still drinking very well, needed an hour to open up, drank okay on 2nd day.

As usual, I tend to disagree with Wine Spectator's Harvey Steiman, who gave this Pinot a score in the low 80s. I find this to be lovely, racy, and ripe; it jumps straight out of the glass with cherry and soft herbal notes. Perhaps those green tinges put some drinkers off -- true enough, this is a world away from the elegance of Burgundy -- but there are a lot of interesting things going on here. For instance, what at the outset smells like off-putting barnyard eases into a pleasant brown-sugar note. All in all, I think this manages to be exuberant without losing control, and it's commendably balanced for the price. The finish isn't as long as it could be, but everything else gets a thumbs-up from me.

A tangy Pinot nose with a bit of stink and some shoe polish. On the palate this shows nice acidity and crunchy red fruit. Fairly clean and simple with a hint of bitterness on the finish. I recall liking this a bit more the first time I had it a year earlier.

had with monkfish; Luann & I thought it was delicious. too much raw garlic in the sauce to really tell, though.

light & fruity--almost some kool-aid flavor here.
