gorgeous nose of peach; some floral notes as well mouth - impressive sap here. again lots of pit fruit and very expansive on the palate. maybe i get a bit of fig which perhaps conveys some of the sense of richness. the minerality is present but the rather big and bold fruit flavors steal the show. no lactic development whatsoever. Very good, and possibly great according to your preference; i prefer my chablis a tad more edgy.

Nose wafts crushed oyster shell and stone, lemon pith, dried apricot, and preserved orange. Medium bodied with sufficient acid and considerable plushness, it gains weight with time. Flavors include white peach, gooseberry, bitter melon, lemon zest, and flint. Excellent wine, Grand Cru density though it doesn't give Grand Cru vibes, which is likely due to the vintage. Doubt time will help, drink in the next few years.

Some weight here, the density transmits from the vintage. Lemon curd, yellow apple, tangerine and anise, a blackish licorice. Good and keeps the brightness despite the riper tones.

Burgundy Dinner with Friends (S.K.Y. Restaurant - Chicago IL): Lots here, but not even close to being fully harmonious or ready. Floral with peach and lemon curd, clearly ripe but also dense, tense and bright, yet without a sense of synthesis, making this seem a bit angular and awkward for now. but so much ere that I am optimistic, from 2025 forward.

Seems a bit too ripe for me. Maybe time will improve it. Not clear. 13%
