  Layers of bouquet and perfume untwined as the dinner progressed. Palate is red fruits driven, composed and with long finish. Young but enjoyable. An outstanding burgundy. #490

  Opened for 3 hours before drinking. Dark red in color, very alluring Leroy nose with lots of deep floral elements and spices. Palate with noticeable stuffings yet unable to unfold all throughout the night, very pure fruited with great balance and good acidity lift. Don't touch this for another 5 years.

  This is way too young. It was opened for 3 hours but still very tight. The blue fruit and red fruit were particularly pure and fresh despite the youthness. The density showed the greatness of the vintage. Nose was not totally open but the stems, red fruit and flowers were expressed. There was some rustiness on the palate that shows the beaune character. It will take 8-10 years for the wine to be ready. 93+
