  Small pour via coravin, 15.7% alc, still has life. Black fruit on the nose, graphite, blackberry. The palate has medium body, alcohol on the finish, very dark red berry fruit, dusty, graphite. Other notes reference this being jammy...not this one, at least not now. Wonder if this was better 5 years ago if there was more fruit? The alcohol is too distracting for me.

  Color: medium ruby -> medium ruby rim with slight bricking. Nose of blackberries, blueberries and oak. Lost this in the wine cellar and recently found. Worried that it would be past prime but not so at all. Full bodied, brawny, still showing a lot of black Zin fruit with blueberries. Fun wine to drink now, I don't think I'd wait any longer if I had any more of these hiding behind other bottles.

  This wine is drinking wonderfully! I was worried that it was going to be a little past its prime...boy was I wrong. This was great with minimal decanting. Drink now. It's spot on ready.

  This is one well made wine. After decanting for an hour or so, we sipped it, well, tried to sip it before the meal, but it was too good to wait the steaks for, so we polished it off before the meal. Poured a dark garnet with dark bramble fruit on the nose and palate with some spice and a touch of vanilla. I wish I had more.
