  Beautiful bouquet with ripe dark berries and sweet spices. On the palate dark berries, sweet spices, herbs, beautiful acidity. Overall a truly delicious wine. 94 – 95

  Opens over a few hours....young but with supple structure...medium to full body...classic cabernet flavors....the balance will age well. A newer style Dunn Napa.

  Impeccably balanced oak spice and dark fruit with a dry finish. Hint of green olive.

  Superb. This wine was consumed over two days. Dunn is not like a lot of other Cabernet that have come and gone displaced by high end cult wines. The prices remained steady and realistically are a value. The 17 shows ripe valley fruit and an almost velvety coating on the palate. These wines are pure and balanced with briar, bush, and cassis so even the wine is seamless with a good 20 second finish.

  Sweet tobacco, ripe cherries, mineral accents, blueberries and crushed violets. Full-bodied and supple, with grainy tannins that have grip. Long and gorgeous, this is similar to the classic ‘09. Decanted for three hours. Dunn truly shines in ’17. Drink 2024 - 2037.
