  A wine that can last forever.
  
  Stunning despite of the challenging vinatge giving it extra elegance with just slight sweetness and just 15% abv.
  
  Classic condensed dried black and red fruits, dark chocolate, raisin and leather from the wine dried grapes. Well used wood imparting sweet spices. Tannins are fine and quite softened now. A bit dusty and charming. Supreme balance given the concentrated acidity. It is just entering its peak drink window which would last for decades.

  Ordered off the list at Lampreia. Does wine get more powerful and ripe than this? The sheer grip and savage quality are off the charts! Deeply powerful, extracted and alcoholic. At the same time, as huge as this is, it's almost a ballerina in some respects, surprisingly light on its feet, very floral and high-pitched, volatile yet in a well integrated way. A real treat!

  Decanted about seven hours before serving. Eric noted the immense balsamico coming out of the decanter. Always a unique experience. As rich as a wine can get and still be balanced. Dense with cassis liqueur bordering on young port. Good mineral verve makes this so sexy.
