  • This wine Is very powerful. Inky black. Heavy on the pilot. Probably benefits from a very long decant. Despite the heaviness, I was able to find a variety of flavors. This is a stout and a very good wine And I think it needs another decade to really hit its stride.

  • Enjoyed this wine with dear close friends. Exceptional wine. Has aged beautifully, with a complex nose of leather, tobacco, dark fruit, graphite. Deep garnet color, light brown halo. Intense on the palette with a long finish. Plum, raisin, forest floor. Beautiful Amorone.

  • Ett väldigt gott vin. Storslaget, tål lätt 10 års lagring till. Ha tålamod och vänta 5-10 år så är det säkert i full balans och 100 poäng.

  • SO'd for 6 hrs then double decanted for 2 hrs, ruby/black, classic Amarone nose, med/firm tannins, very long finish; outstanding, but still young. I will wait another few yrs before my next one

  • Absolutely a delight. A big unique wow wine that is extreme, unique, hedonistic, balanced, complex, long and rich. Sweet inky floral violet aromas with very dark purple red opaque color and wild spices. Rich velvety texture that packs a real punch of power with big ripe dark cherry, plum, and blackberry liquor. Long lingering warm blueberry pie finish. Nothing shy here including the alcohol and this not for the weak or elderly despite 16 yers of age.

Amazingly, this held up sitting on a counter for two days and didn’t lose any vibrancy or an ounce of enjoyment. Went great with a port tenderloin in a cherry reduction sauce. This is a velvet bruiser of a wine showing no signs of age. In fact, served blind experienced tasters thought it was just three years old. My guess is this lasts a hundred years easy. Full three inch cork hopefully does the job.
