Beautiful restrained nose of cassis and very subtle pencil shavings. Not at all overpowering on the palate but a super powerful finish and an amazing robust mouthfeel. Tasted from a 375ml bottle.

19th Annual Lyon 10 Year Retrospective (Chez Lyon in Eugene, OR): More ripe and some obvious glycerin made it stand out as the ringer in this flight. Tannins are there but nicely integrated. The fruit leans towards the black and blue end of the spectrum with some nice spice notes, but it seemed a little short. 90 on day 2.

Elegant, medium bodied with medium plus tannins still strong. Not an over the top flavor profile. Agree with other notes that liken this to a Bordeaux style.

This is showing better than the previous one. Quite dry, delicate chalky flavors, almost aloof. Nothing too obvious about this. Expressive and elegant. Medium bodied and quite attractive. My previous note about this seeming almost like a Bordeaux resonated again - could be mistaken as a Pomerol perhaps.
