Pristine entry-level Gamay; sappy, balanced, fresh, with modest but typical Gamay fragrances and flavors and a light+ body. Not complex, not for ageing, but a simple and refreshing summer red or to go with any meal that needs a light red. Prices for this vary tremendously in the US, but above $15 it has a weak QPR compared with some Beaujolais.

Gentle tannins, lovely ripe red fruit, medium-dry style; cleansing acidity; a classy Quaffer; medium body. Pretty much the near-perfect chilled red summer lunch wine.
VFM?.....worth every penny of £13.50

Reached for this vs. a St. Amour or El Dorado gamay it was sitting next to. Fruity carbonic palate with some herb/dried flower on the nose.
