Spicy red fruit, hints of barnyard and deep red florals. Certainly less green and austere than my previous bottle at Thanksgiving, and that's a good thing. The red fruit coming through has a subtle spice to it that, while not overly complex, is downright enjoyable. Much better showing than last time.

Lots of green peppers, asparagus and spices. Palate was great though with delicate red berries and blue pinot fruit dominating. The nose was really off-putting to many of those that tried it, but the palate was in a good place.

Dark blackish red, with an airy, subtle nose of dark cherries accented with quiet floral notes and an unmistakable hint of forest floor. Really very pretty and decidedly feminine. On the palate this is all cherry fruit in a nicely concentrated and softly textured package. The fruit gives way to some bracing acidity on the back end and leaves you with black cherries and a puckered reminder that there is backbone behind the soft fruit. Delicious, and nothing "green" about it. Another good one from Michel Gros. I don't think I've had a wine of his that I didn't like.

No notes taken, but this was very enjoyable and had none of the vintage's overt "greenness."
