Red Burgundies (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): 2/3 is from Les Argillières, a lieu-dit that directly abuts Musigny on its northern border. The rest is from Les Maladières, Les Mombies, & Les Nazoires .
N: Smoke, spice, earth, & berries
P: LM body; Rndish entry with NICE frt met by some very, VERY finely tannic pucker which only somewhat resolves by the LONG, spicy, very, VERY finely tannic finish with hints of swtness. NEEDS into '20, poss more, then drinking through its 10th... easily. IMPRESSIVE! 89-91 pts Burghound. [While certainly COMPETITIVE, wine-searcher does list one April 2018 source for $2 < this vendor's $74.95.]

Fine tannins, muted nose, very balanced but reticent. Elegant wine. Paired with a Gros Vosne Rom from the same vintage that was more expressive.
Suggest 2 years on this for 10 years after vintage.

Showing much better today than my last bottle. It think it has now entered its drinking window with many years ahead.

Some 2015 Reds from Lignier Michelot and Michel Gros (Dig Wines, San Francisco): Light ruby. Also some brett. Light weight. Tart red fruit and soil, crisp acidity. Not terribly attractive now but needs time. I would never have guessed 2015.
