closed. subtle spice and red fruits are reticent now. acid and tannin predominate the palate with spice and oak influence fairly obvious. not nearly as open as this has been in the past.

bright, floral, high-toned red fruits that start off with a subtle hint of earth/funk that blew off pretty quickly. tart cherry on the palate with nice tannic structure and acidity. glad i have more.
