  • Plenty of black cherry and blackberry on the nose with hints of dark chocolate. On the palate, it is a fruit bomb mixed with leather, chocolate, subtle oak, and a touch of earthiness. Long finish. Smoother than I expected. Tannins are there but with a more subtle grip.

  • An excellent expression of a Heathcote Shiraz with a good QPR. The wine was clear, deep ruby in color and a pale rim. On the nose, this developing wine was clean with pronounced aromas of black and red fruit - black cherry and red cherry - , sweet spice and hints of vanilla, licorice and chocolate. On the palate, dry, full bodied with medium acidity and medium tannins. Pronounced flavors of black cherry, licorice, leather, some herbaceous notes and a peppery finish. This is a high alcohol wine (15%) with a long length. An excellent quality wine that is ready to drink now, but can develope with age. Paired well with B-B-Q Spareribs.

  • Man this wine is hard to figure out. It has a unique texture and from one sip to another is can be really good to meh. The nose is blackberry jam all the way. You get a flood of dark fruits up front and a swoosh of lighter fruit on the short mid-palate but it transitions into a really long finish of plum, chocolate, cassis and a nice touch of oak that is surprisingly subtle. It really can jump around from sip to sip but after awhile I realized that's what I liked about it.

  • Color: deep, ruby core, medium ruby rim, tears. Nose: intense, youthful, eucalyptus (like kissing a koala), vanilla, ripe cherries, blackberry, chocolate. Palate: dry, medium acidity, medium level of soft tannins, high alcohol, full body -, intense fruit flavours, dark chocolate, ripe black cherries, blackberries, vanill! Eucalyptus, long, budding complexity. Very good to excellent, balanced and intense with a long finish. Drinking well now, kep 1-2 years
