(Brunner@Derek's) Juicy blackcurrants, dark florals. Pure fruit, chewy, leather, leafy mulch. Purty and clarity, despite concentration. Earth and clean peppers on finish. Well developed, and yum!

Opened on 30/11/07. Opaque purple color with light fading edge. Harmonious bouquets of ripe dark cherry, soy bean, vanilla, slight toasty oak and liquorice. Very juicy and rich of blackberry and dark cherry, some spice on palate yet it’s not too sweet nor heavy, very smooth mouthfeel. Tannin is fine and matured. Finish is medium long with lots of juicy fruits. Long aftertaste of spice and mineral. Drinking beautifully now, a good value aussie.

NobleRottersSydney - New Releases (Darling Mills, Glebe): Restrained nose; quite a contrast to the McLaren Vale version of this label. Finely-wrought tannins, cool-climate, almost-pepper fruits, more built of iron and earth. Medium length finish. OK
