Angerville spring break (Alex): Experienced as more powerful than Champans in the same vintage. Nose with pepper, pinot spice, and raspberries. Concentrated palate with toasted oak, crisp red fruit, and some mint/eucalyptus.

Some Wine Tasted at the Acker La Paulée Auction (Maybourne Hotel - Beverly Hills CA): Tasted at auction. Ripe expression of Volnay spice with all red fruit, still slightly oaky. Give this much more cellar time.

Classics (Tøyen, Oslo): Double decanted 3h prior to serving
The nose featured crisp raspberries of the highest quality, rose stems, pine needles and the slightest hint of marzipan/roasted almonds.
Very savoury palate, beautiful balance, primary fruits.
The finish is very long, and keeps on growing long after the wine is swallowed.
Fun now, clearly built to age, should be fantastic once mature.

Grand Cru Portfolio Tasting (3/9 Grand Cru Portfolio Tasting, NYC): Sweet clay on nose. Lovely. Still didn't impress as much as Champans on this day.
