  Deep Ruby color, youthful ruby ring. black cherry nose, with vanilla and oak tones. Mouth filling, rich feel, medium tannin. Great finish, with blackberry, toasted cherry, and caramel aftertaste. A classic Calif Cab. Well made with a fair QPR.

  Oaky, vanilla. Full body, medium acid. Grippy. Lovely. Big wine. Tannins medium. Medium finish. Very complex. This wine needed more time than I gave it in the tasting room.

  One could argue this is the best Bancroft single-vineyard since 1994. it's a big mountain wine, with big tannins, however, there is a ripeness which gives it good quality without.
  
  Black fruit, cedar, tobacco, earthiness, herbal notes, big tannins. A/A+
