beautiful expression of Brunello, another 3-4 years aging will help, but certainly drinkable now. inky bricky purple color, dusty to the nose and minerality/earthiness on the tongue.
This is a fine wine and will only get better

Clear, deep purple-red. Aromas fruity with a bit of smoke, nice. Taste experience a bit rough. Slight, quick fading fruit with tannins stepping in even at 6 years out. Also hot. At $36, normally $48, I would not buy again. Not for me. BB claimed a 94 rating on this. Two tasters with me were not impressed either.

Sampled from a bottle that had been opened for approximately one hour at a holiday luncheon party, this deep garnet Brunello proved itself to be a winner. Flaunting an intense aromatic profile of red bramble fruits, dried apricots, lavender, allspice and savory herbs, it is a full-bodied, seamlessly alcoholic (14.5%) wine with excellent freshness, velvety tannins and nicely integrated wood. Layered on the mid-palate and long on the back end, this is absolutely irresistible. Although it may get even better, there is no need to hesitate popping a cork. Drink now-2031.

Medium-deep reddish garnet in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, blueberries & plums with overtones of earthy/dusty & floral notes, herbs, spices, minerals & a hint of cedar in the background. Medium-full bodied with a good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, mulberries & plums with earthy notes, spices, some herbs & minerals. Lingering dry finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & airing but has the fruit & structure to continue development from further aging at which time it may merit a higher score.
