  Way too young — the tannins are massive and wild and untamed, and it feels a bit closed-up. That said, still a great drinking experience. Truffles on the nose — it’s a cliche with Barolo but this was the most truffle I’ve ever seen. Palate a great blend of wet earth and restrained dark fruit. Tasted black and dark, in a good way.
