  • Still just as intense as it was on release: red fruit up front of a bright core with acidity and chunky texture all the way through. This could stand up to just about anything food-wise at this point. Glad we popped this bottle to experience the intensity, I really think these need a lot of time still and will try to hold off on popping the next one until '25 or '26.

  • PnP. Dark cherry, red berries, spice, earth, a bit of sulfur/reduction but that blows off with some time in the glass. Medium body and medium+ acidity. It's still got a fair amount of tension, but it's certainly come along a lot since my last note in June 2021. It's got a really strong core of fruit, but it also has a pretty intense acidic spine. There's some moderate tannins in the finish, but they're well integrated. I love the balance and think this has a great future. For me all that's missing is several more years of bottle age.

  • Popped and poured with supper on the veranda following an evening nine. Dark purplish garnet color. Lovely black cherry, earth, dirty rose petal and hints of Cameron funk and cola. None of the reductive qualities others have mentioned. Medium-bodied. Black cherry, a little warm spice and something else in the red fruit spectrum that I can’t quite place. Absolutely lovely. 93 for both Domino and I.

  • Medium to dark ruby. Reductive. Mist of rich red berries. Nose is one-dimensional given how young it is but already smells good. More open at the 2 hour mark for certain. Incredible purity of fruit on the entry complemented by strong minerality. Tight, with a really dense core. Some spicy woody stemmy notes, bit green. Mouthcoating textural qualities.

Really solid value for money. Obvious to me it needs years.
