Ripe black currants, ripe black cherries, curry spice, garrigue, leather, rubber and motor oil on the nose. Intensitry of aromas is medium +. The palate shows mostly the ripe dark fruits. Not a ton of the non-fruit things from the nose. Hoping they show on the palate with more bottle age. Intensity of flavors is medium +.
Full bodied with medium acid and strong high tannins. Developing. Recommend holding this for another 2-3 years. It should simultaneously mellow out and gain complexity.

Off the list at Mason Street Grill in Milwaukee. A nice suggestion from our waiter based upon the steak heavy menu. Inky dark in color with dark fruits on the nose and palate.

still too young, very hard to drink right now intense dark red ruby colour with medium intensity nose of dry plums, cherries, tobacco, lavender and pepper. In the mouth the ripe plums still prevail, some good pepper and liquorice, crispy, unfortunately the alcohol isn´t integrated at all and you can feel all the 16% right now, good earthy/mineral notes, tannins are definitely too strong yet and the end is a little bit bitter; in general it is rather strong than precise. Long finish with notes of ripe plums and herbs

Lavender nose. Black cherry flavors. A little heavy for my taste (16% alcohol !). I would drink it sooner than later because the tannins are very ripe and I like the fruit it has now.

Black fruit and a little bit of funkiness to it.
